WHAT YOU’LL FIND ON EKORA EDUCATION

Offering a range of modules at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, the course content covers foundation anatomy through to devices and service delivery. Course content is delivered by Hannah Law, Chief Cardiac Physiologist at NHS Lothian and includes real life examples to offer accessible opportunities for professional development and BHRS exam prep.

Hannah Law is a highly experienced CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) Lead Physiologist at NHS Lothian, where she works across five sites, covering both adult and paediatric services. Her expertise spans invasive device procedures, electrophysiology, and device follow-up.
Passionate about education and professional development, Hannah serves on the Board of Examiners for the British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS), contributing to the BHRS devices exam. Over the past five years, she has successfully mentored eight physiologists through the examination process.
A Clinical Scientist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, Hannah achieved her registration through equivalency in 2023. She is also an IBHRE Certified Cardiac Device Specialist, initially accredited in 2010 and reaccredited in 2020—placing in the top 3% globally on her most recent examination.
At EKORA Education, she’s here to support physiologists in cardiology with expert guidance and course delivery, helping to advance knowledge and skills.
Dr. Alan Robertson is a highly qualified Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist with extensive experience in cardiac rhythm management. He holds IBHRE and EHRA certifications, demonstrating his expertise in device therapy and electrophysiology.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow and the University of Dundee, Dr. Robertson holds an MD, MBChB, MRCP, and BSc MedSci (Hons). His commitment to advancing cardiac care led him to complete a year-long Cardiac Rhythm Management Fellowship at Monash Heart in Melbourne in 2016, where he received high commendation for his work.
With clinical experience spanning Scotland and Australia, Dr. Robertson brings a broad and well-rounded perspective to EKORA Education. He is also an Advanced Life Support instructor, dedicated to ensuring excellence in emergency cardiac care.
